Advertising revenues directed to charities

bigheartedsearch.com helps Canadian charities and nonprofits by redirecting 80% of its revenue made through search advertising. Search advertising is a method of placing online advertisements, called sponsored results or sponsored links on web pages that show results from your search engine queries. Advertisers then pay us a fee every time a user click on a sponsored link.

Since money is raised through a percentage of advertising fees paid to bigheartedsearch.com by advertisers, bigheartedsearch.com remains free for all users.

To use bigheartedsearch.com, follow these simple steps:

• Load bigheartedsearch.com on your favourite browser and choose one of the 8 tabs listed at the top of the page (heading menu). Choices are: "Breast Cancer", "Prostate Cancer", "Hearth Disease", "Children's Health", "Environment", "Sports", "Community & Education" and "Arts". 80 percent of the revenue raised through sponsored search results will be donated to the charities and nonprofit organizations listed under that tab.
• You can also click on the "Select a charity" button located on the top right corner of the home page to select a specific organization. 80 percent of the revenue raised through sponsored search results will be donated to the specific organization you've selected.
• Enter your search queries (key word(s)), as you would do in any other search engine, in the search bar showing right under the heading menu, and click on the "Web Search" button located at the right of the search bar. You'll then be redirected to the results page, and since bigheartedsearch.com is built on the Yahoo! platform and powered by Microsoft Bing, you'll get excellent search results.
